At the Sankaku Shotokan Karate Club, we run an adult’s class at the same time as the children's class at the following locations and times:
Details of these classes can be found on the website’s “classes” page. Adults and children train in separate classes in the same hall with their own dedicated instructors.
We started these classes to encourage parents who are interested in training but are unable to get child minders to enable them to attend the adult’s class which usually follows on immediately after the children's class. With this facility, you will be able to train together with your children and share the learning experience as a family. SSK allow children to train from 4 years old.
At present we have a few Mums that would like to join in but would like to start with others in a group. Therefore, we are trying to arrange a suitable class or classes for them as we appreciate that it can be a little bit daunting in the beginning. For anyone interested you would not be alone and you could bring your friends and/or other family members along. We do offer a discount for families of 3 or more training on the same day and not necessarily at the same time.
If you would like more details, have a chat with your Club Instructor or contact us by clicking on the link below. If you are unable to manage either of the two classes available, we may be able to arrange alternatives.
Please note that you don't have to be fit or flexible and you don't have to be good at sport. All you need to do is give it a try and have some fun. To begin with, no special clothing is required. Just wear something loose and comfortable.
We hope to see you soon. Remember, the FIRST TWO LESSONS ARE FREE!
